Private Hong Island Tour: Secret Lagoons & Hidden Bays

Hong Lagoon is one of the most beautiful sights near Krabi, and early in the morning it belongs to you. We leave Ao Nang at 8 am; by speedboat the crossing to Hong takes about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the sea. Then it goes on to the tiny cove of Koh Lao Lading and the twin beaches of Koh Pakbia, joined by a sand spit. Here you can plan a long swim and snorkel picnic and plenty of time in the water, without a group schedule pushing you on.

For orientation: there are two islands called Koh Hong. Our tour visits the island in Than Bok Khorani National Park off Krabi, not the one in Phang Nga Bay. The lagoon is mostly explored by boat, and whether and where swimming is allowed depends on the national park rules; for swimming and snorkelling the beaches and reefs of the neighbouring islands are the better choice. Included are national park fees, free snorkel gear (tick it when booking), water, soft drinks, fruit and the hotel transfer. The boat is a white hardtop cabin boat for a maximum of five guests, and the price is per boat.
